Itinerary:
Seven Brothers and Tadjourah
Day 1 (Saturday): Divers are welcomed on board starting Saturday afternoon (4.00 p.m). Saturday evening dinner is arranged on board.
Day 2 (Sunday): Early morning departure. Check dive on Moucha island near Djibouti, after lunch, navigation till Obock area and 2nd dive. Night navigation till 7 Brothers Islands
Day 3 (Monday): 3 dives on 7 Brothers Islands
Day 4 (Tuesday): 3 dives on 7 Brothers Islands
Day 5 (Wednesday): 2 dives on 7 Brothers Islands and navigation till Obock area and 3 dives. Then night navigation till Ras Koralie
Day 6 (Thursday): Depending on whale sharks presence, diving near Ras Koralie area or Arta Plage, or snorkeling with Whale Sharks
Day 7 (Friday): Depending on whale sharks presence, diving near Ras Koralie area or Arta Plage, or snorkeling with Whale Sharks, in the afternoon navigation till Djibouti. The safari ends with the boat returning to the marina on Friday afternoon. Friday night dinner, accommodation and Saturday morning breakfast are included; either on the boat or in a 3 stars hotel if required for organization purposes.
Day 8 (Saturday): Checkout and departure for the airport.
Marine Life: The rich feeding grounds that make up Djibouti’s coastal waters attract a range of different species. Alongside Whale Sharks, divers can encounter Manta Rays, Beaked and Pilot Whales. Most species of Dolphin are represented in numbers off Djibouti’s coast, and are often seen ‘running’ the bow wave of your boat. Where there are Dolphins there are invariably Sharks. Grey and Nurse Sharks are the most commonly encountered species, whilst both Tiger and Blue Sharks have occasionally been seen.
